The purpose of this study is figuring out the effect of the leadership type of the rowing coaches on the athlete-satisfaction and team empowerment, and this study is based on the statistics which was extracted from the 181 questionnaire papers among total 200 questionnaire papers on high school, college, and vocational rowing players who are enlisted at Korea Rowing Association. The questionnaire papers consisted of leadership type, athlete-satisfaction, and team empowerment, and the methods of obtaining the required data were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis, and the conclusions are as follows. First, among subordinate variables of athlete-satisfaction, satisfaction of the contents of the game showed positive effect on democratic behaviors and authoritative behaviors, and satisfaction of the role in the team showed negative effect on democratic behaviors and showed positive effect on authoritative behaviors. And satisfaction of overall team showed positive effect on support for training and behaviors and also showed positive effect on democratic behaviors. Second, among subordinate variables of team empowerment, meaningness showed positive effect on support for training and behaviors and also showed positive effect on authoritative behaviors. The ability of implementing roles showed positive effect on authoritative behaviors and also showed positive effect on positive feedback, and self-decision showed positive effect on democratic behaviors, authoritative behaviors, and positive feedback. And impact showed positive effect on authoritative behaviors and positive feedback.
