In modern world, the uses of archives are more various than the past. This case study was find out the ways of archives exhibitions at oversea archive centers. For this purpose, this study reviews six archives exhibitions, that 3 on-line exhibition types and 3 off-line exhibition types. Consequently, this study derives some ways from them. More than suitable exhibition ways using archives are as follows that; First of all, on-line exhibitions have more merits than off-line exhibitions in the accessible aspect to structural types of exhibition. And also, ideal exhibitions are more advantages than theme exhibitions because of having contexts and explanations to information types of exhibition. Nevertheless, it is important that the archive centers considering their missions, directions and financial aspects to period types of exhibition.

정보화 사회로 대변되는 현대사회에서 대중들은 원하는 정보를 장소와 시간의 구애 없이 활용할 수 있게 되어 이제 기록물의 활용은 보다 다양해지고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 시대에 기록물과 기록관의 목적을 이용자들에게 잘 전달할 수 있는 방법으로 활용되고 있는 기록물 전시를 전시 형태(전산·현장)로 구분하여 살펴보았 다. 사례를 살펴본바, 전산 전시는 현장 전시의 접근성과 정보제공의 한계를 극복할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며 현장 전시의 경우 문서의 형태로 된 기록물의 특성을 고려하여 설명이 많이 포함된 전시를 활용하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 기록관의 전시는 기록관이 가진 본래의 목적 및 방향과 기록관의 재정 상황에 맞는 전시 형태를 적절히 활용하는 것이 바람직하다.
