In recent years, the number of high-rise building construction projects has grown, and the subject of precheck for disaster prevention has become one of important issue. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose the methodology to prevent disasters by systematically organizing safety management information and considering the condition for disasters of lifting equipment that occur at construction site. This paper aims to show the diverse characteristics of construction disasters based on KOSHA's annual cases on disasters(fall, collapsibility, drowning, falling, drop, breaking, narrowness) from 1993 to 2009. To achieve these objectives, in this paper we first examined the originalcause materials and risk factors for 7 types of disasters. We then systematically organized the relationship between disaster cause and disaster category, and suggested a methodology for the priority management through the analysis of the primary causes of disasters by work category. The results of this paper based on this methodology can be divided into three areas: 1)the types of works were divided into 49 categories by analyzing the information of KOSHA's annual cases; 2)the originalcause materials for 7 types of disasters were divided into 8 categories; 3)the types of disaster causes were divided into 10 categories.

최근, 초고층 프로젝트가 증가하고 있으며, 재해예방을 위한 사전 점검은 중요한 과제의 하나로 인식되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 건설현장에서 발생한 양중장비의 재해실태를 분석하고, 안전관리 방안을 체계적으로 고찰하여 재해방지를 위한 방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 실현하기 위해서 1993년부터 2009년까지 양중장비의 재해유형(낙하, 붕괴, 익사, 전도, 추락, 파단, 협착)별로 재해실태를 분석하여 재해의 다양한 특성을 고찰하였으며, 재해의 위험요소 및 기인물을 분석하였다. 그리고 재해요인과 재해유형과의 인과관계를 고찰하고, 작업유형별로 재해의 주된 요인을 분석하여 중점관리를 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구방법에 의해 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 1) 재해사례를 분석한 결과, 작업유형은 49유형으로 분류되었다 2) 7유형의 재해유형에 관련된 기인물은 크게 8유형으로 구분할 수 있었다 3) 물리적 재해요인 및 관리적 재해요인은 총 10유형으로 나타났다.
