초록

영어

It is the period to call the area of category which is East Asia. Its purpose is seemed to cope with monolithic globalization by calling Korea․China․Japan with the substitute word of East Asia since the late 1970s rather than the name to call East and West. As for the solidarity of East Asia, common fundamental experience to form a connection with historical experience without geological calling precedes. This ‘common denominator of fate of East Asia’ is the memory of daily waywardness and damage of national violence. This East Asia is the calling derived from fundamental experience of pain of war and separation. In the origin of shared memory of East Asia, war and conquest and violence are located rather than peace. And to remember this experience can be worked as very significant standard in the present to form new solidarity of East Asia. As records of war from the point of view of the subjugated, there is a series of novels “A Naked Captive” of Jeong, Seung Bak, the Korean writer in Japan. Experimental novel “A Naked Captive” received the fifteenth award of peasant literature of Japanese Agrarian Literature Association in 1972, and it wrote the suffering of forced labor with Chinese captive in the Nigata concentration camp. The novel of Jeong, Seung Bak recorded the war experience that Korean in Japan experienced. However, by reproducing a marginal man of breakaway as ‘Seung-Deok’, the young man with pure soul who practiced humanity not a minority who was stricken with a victim mentality and helpless, the ethical consciousness of humanity and philanthropy that are never broken by war was inspired. In the novel of Jeong Seung Bak which was constructed by experiencing the war by Korean in Japan, it is possible to confirm the belief toward humanity arrived by transcending cognition for nation and people and nation-state. Historical narrative of new East Asia should be constructed on the basis of these realizations. Records experienced by each nation in the war that the whole East Asia went through together should be read and combined from the point of view of individual main agent. By doing this, it is possible to reflect how the territory setting so-called nation and war, which is the biggest violence committed by crashing nation-states worked as a regulation to lose humanity.
