Inno-biz companies can develop and launch new technologies and products in time through emphasis on R&D for technological innovation. In this relation, it is going to explore the effects of the R&D investment and the technological innovation ability of Inno-Biz companies on corporate performances. As a result of multiple regression analysis of the R&D innovation and the technological innovation ability, it confirmed that Inno-Biz companies starting from the merit of technological innovation had positive(+) influences on financial performances in comparison with goals except for R&D intensity as much as their R&D is active and in addition, as their technological innovation ability is high, they had positive(+) influences on financial performances in comparison with the average of the same industry except for the goals of R&D investment. Accordingly, Hypothesis 1 adopts parts of them and Hypothesis 2 adopts all of them. Furthermore, as a result of hierarchical multiple regression analysis to examine the influences of decentralization as a moderating variable to the R&D investment and the technical innovation ability on corporate performances, in case of decentralization as a moderating variable to R&D investment, it did not have an influence on the financial performance in comparison with goals and the financial performance in comparison with the average of the same industry so that Hypothesis was rejected and in case of the technological innovation ability and decentralization, the accumulation system and decentralization had influences on corporate financial performance in comparison with goals and the decentralization on the innovation system and the accumulation system influenced very much financial performances in comparison with the average of the same industry so that Hypothesis 4 was adopted. Consequently, it found that except for the main effects of each variable, interactive effects between variables have bigger influences on corporate performances.

이노비즈기업은 기술혁신을 위한 연구개발 중심으로 집중하여야 신기술이나 신제품을 적기에 개발하고 출시할 수 있다. 이와 관련하여 이노비즈기업의 연구개발투자와 기술혁신능력이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 연구개발투자와 기술혁신능력을 다중회귀분석을 통해 살펴본 결과 기술혁신을 모태로 하는 이노비즈기업은 연구개발투자가 활발할수록 연구개발비집약도를 제외하고는 목표대비 재무성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있으며, 또한 기술혁신능력이 높을수록 연구개발비 투자목적을 제외하고는 동종업계평균대비 재무성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 가설 1은 일부를, 가설 2는 모두 채택한다. 또한 연구개발투자와 기술혁신능력에 분권화를 조절변수로 하여 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 계층적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 연구개발투자에 분권화를 조절변수로 한 경우에는 기업의 목표대비 재무성과와 동종업계평균대비 재무성과에 아무런 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 가설 3은 기각되고, 기술혁신능력과 분권화에 있어서는 축적시스템과 분권화가 기업의 목표대비 재무성과에, 혁신체계와 축적시스템에 대한 분권화는 기업의 동종업계평균대비 재무성과에 높은 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 가설 4를 채택한다. 따라서 각 변수들의 주 효과 이외에도 변수들 간의 상호작용 효과가 기업성과에 더 큰 작용을 하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 특히 연구개발투자가 활발하고 기술혁신능력을 갖춘 기업일수록 기업성과가 정(+)의 관계를 나타내고 있음을 감안할 때, 이노비즈기업은 선택과 집중차원에서 신기술․신제품 개발을 위한 목표설정을 확실히 하고 기술혁신노력을 집중 한다면 기업성과가 더욱 더 향상될 수 있음을 시사하고 있는 것이다.
