원문정보

초록

영어

Microalgae such as marine microaglae and cyanobacteria produce long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LC-PUFAs) by PUFA synthase. This study was carried out for four microalgae strains, Dunaliella tertiolecta, Dunaliella salina, Isochrysis galbarna and Nannochloropsis oculata to obatain high biomass production and lipid content. Maximum cell density of D. tertiolecta was 8.0 x106 cell/ml with nitrate concentration of 75 mg/L and lipid contents 18% (g/g dcw) increased to 54.54% (g/g dcw) in 2 days at 0 psu of salt stress condition. Maximum cell density of D. salina was 7.5 x 106 cell/ml with nitrate concentration of 112 mg/L and lipid contents 16% (g/g dcw) increased to 47% (g/g dcw) in 1 days at 10 psu of salt stress condition. Maximum cell density of I. galbarna was 12 x 106 cell/ml with nitrate concentration of 38 mg/L and lipid contents 18% (g/g dcw) increased to 57% (g/g dcw) in 2 days at 10 psu of salt stress condition. Maximum cell density of N. oculata was 12.5 x 106 cell/ml with nitrate concentration of 38 mg/L and lipid contents 16% (g/g dcw) increased to 28% (g/g dcw) in 4 days at 0 psu of salt stress condition.
