Deploymerization and liquid phase radical oxidation was conducted with water soluble cellulose such as methyl cellulose(MC), carboxy methyl cellulose(CMC), hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose(HPMC), hydroxyethyl cellulose(HEC) with the hydrogen peroxide and iron ions in the rotary evaporator by controlling the pressure and temperature. From the each compouds many volatile carbons, such as formed and major product is methanol through the GC-MS analysis. Polymer methyl-cellulose deploymerized with hydrogen peroxide and iron ions into oligomer, glucose, xylose and organic acid such as succinic acid and acetic acid through the low temperature reaction (25℃, 6hr) and and gluco-pyranose and methanol prepared mainly after heated 150 ℃ in the batch reactor 4 hours. The glucose pyranose could be utilized as subtracts for fermentation for ethanol after radical removed by radical scavenger such as hydro quinone and ascobic acid
