The purpose of this paper is to share the results of a study that focused on the challenges and practices related to the intercultural change in the three intercultural action-domains. To achieve the aim, this article deals with the following themes: action-domain and practice of education, action-domain and practice of social work, and , action-domain and practice of economy. The bottom line of this paper can be formulated as follows: The discourses and practices coping with an intercultural question can be diagnosed to remain until now mostly in an immanent space of a specific action-domain without taking place in an opener between-space. Notwithstanding such a diagnosis we can find on the other hand sort of a common denominator regarding the intercultural challenges and necessities of reform, which each action-domain faces in a process of intercultural change. The demands for intercultural change of perspective (or turn of paradigm), intercultural opening, and intercultural management, which can be recently identified respectively in the three action-domains in question, should be considered and interpreted especially from the viewpoint of interity or intersystem or intercultural between-space-system. And such a process of intercultural change demands growth and expansion of intercultural competence as a common goal, which requires on its part a set of measures like intercultural education, learning, or training as necessary condition.

이 글은 서로 다른 행위영역에서 간문화적 변동을 구성하는 데 있어서 고려해야 할 도전과 실천을 살펴보고, 최근 관찰할 수 있는 전개양상과 공통점을 명료화하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이 목적에 도달하기 위하여, 예시적 차원에서 프랑스와 독일의 사례를 중심으로 하여, 세 가지 행위영역(교육․사회복지․경제)별로 각각 간문화적 변동과 관련된 동향에 주의를 기울인다. 본고에서 강조하고자 하는 사항은 다음과 같이 몇 가지 명제로 정식화하여 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 간문화적 질문을 다루는 담론과 실천이 이제까지 개방적인 사이공간에서 별로 이루어지지 못하고, 특정한 행위영역의 내재적 공간에 머 물고 있다는 진단을 내릴 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 각 행위영역이 직면하고 있는 간문화적 도전과 개혁의 필요성에 대하여 어떤 공통분모를 설정할 수 있다. 각 행위영역에서는 최근 간문화적 관점변경(패러다임의 전환), 간문화적 개방, 간문화관리 따위의 측면에서 간문화적 변동에 대한 취급과 조치가 이루어지고 있다. 둘째, 하지만 이 세 가지 측면은 각각 특정한 행위영역에만 국한되어 있다고 보기 힘들며, ‘간체제’ 혹은 ‘간문화적 사이공간체제’의 관점에서 서로 다른 행위영역들이 서로 겹치고 연결되는 현상을 점점 더 많이 보여주고 있다. 부분체제로서의 각 행위영역은 자기준거적 체제논리에 따라 점점 더 서로 독립적으로 되어가면서 동시에 상호의존관계를 심화시키고 있다는 점에서, 이 간체제적 관계는 공통된 유형(패턴)을 따른다고 해석할 수 있다. 셋째, 특히 기능적 측면에서 바라볼 때, 간문화적 행위영역은 간성(間性) 혹은 간체제의 논리에 따라 서로 협력을 하거나 서로 대응․부응하면서 간문화적 변동과 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 각 행위영역은 이미 간성 혹은 간체제의 논리 속에서 그 자체가 이미 내재적으로 안고 있는 역설과 모순을 처리하지 않으면 안 된다. 그리고 간문화적 관점변경․개방․관리의 측면에서 나타나고 있는 간문화적 변동과정은 공통된 목표로서 간문화능력의 함양과 신장을 요구하고 있으며, 이것은 다시 간문화교육․학습․훈련의 필요성을 제기하고 있다.
