The purpose of this study is to investigate on the recognition of Loss-compensation work. This study is executed by the officals who is working in 4 cities or guns(Sokcho, Goseong, Inje, YangYang) within Seolak-gwon, Gangwon. The results of this study shows many problems occurred as like below, 1) Lack of skillful ability of compensation work from frequent position change, 2) Insufficience of education and practice related loss-compensation work, 3) Dangerousness and immanence of finance of loss-compensation, avoidance of loss-compensation work.
Therefore, we suggest the points of improvement as like 1) a placement of talented person and an inspiration of morale booster, 2) a management of small group for education of officials, 3) a setting up network system between the officials who is working a loss-compensation, 4) an utilization of cyber education, 5) a need of insuring obligation of officials for an accident of financial compensation.

본 연구는 강원도 설악권 4개 시․군 (속초, 고성, 양양, 인제) 손실보상담당공무원을 대상으로 손실보상 업무에 대한 인식조사를 하였다. 본 연구 조사 결과, 잦은 보직이동으로 보상업무의 숙련성 부족, 손실보상업무와 연관된 교육이나 훈련 미흡, 손실보상금 사고 위험성․내재성 및 보상업무 기피로 손실보상 업무에 대한 문제점이 대두되고 있어 이에 따라, 유능한 인재 배치 및 사기진작 고취, 공무원 학습(연구)동아리 운영, 사이버교육 적극적 활용과 손실보상담당공무원간 업무 네트워크화 필요, 보상금 사고시 담당공무원 보험가입의 필요성을 제시하였다.
