The fauna of benthic macroinvertebrates were investigated in Gyeryongsan National Park from March to October, 2012. A total of 139 species belonging to 72 families, 18 orders, and 6 classes in 4 phyla were identified at 36 sampling sites. This study confirmed 10 species accounting for over 60% of the occurring frequency: Chironomidae sp.1 (18.6%), Hydropsyche kozhantschikovi (6.9%), Ecdyonurus kibunensis (6.4%), Gammarus sobaegensis (5.9%), Baetis silvaticus (5.4%), Hydropsyche orientalis (5.2%), Epeorus pellucidus (4.0%), Tanypodinae sp. (3.4%), Cheumatopsyche brevilineata (3.2%) and Simulium sp. (2.6%). The endemic species of Korea were identified as 8 species: Semisulcospira coreana, Semisulcospira libertina, Macrobrachium koreana, Ephemera separigata, Drunella aculea, Pteronarcys macra, Kamimuria coreana, and Neoperla coreensis.

계룡산국립공원 일대 수계에 서식하는 저서성 대형무척추동물을 대상으로 2012년 3월부터 10월까지 조사하였다. 전체 36개 조사지점에서 출현한 저서성 대형무척추동물은 총 4문 6강 18목 72과 139종이었다. 전체 출현 종중에 상위 10종(깔따구 sp.1(18.6%), 줄날도래(6.9%), 두점하루살이(6.4%), 보통옆새우(5.9%), 감초하루살이(5.4%), 동양줄날도래(5.2%), 부채하루살이(4.0%), 늪깔따구류(3.4%), 꼬마줄날도래(3.2%), 먹파리류(2.6%))의 출현빈도가 61.7%에 이르는 것으로 나타났다. 한반도 고유종은 참다슬기, 다슬기, 두드럭징거미새우, 가는무늬하루살이, 뿔하루살이, 한국큰그물강도래, 한국강도래, 두눈강도래 총 8종이 조사되었다.
