The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of science-related activities in the national five years old Nuri curriculum teacher's guide books. The subjects of the study are selected 114 raising inquiring attitude and 215 scientific inquiry activities based on five years old Nuri curriculum teacher's guide books. These activities were analyzed frequency and percentages of the tendency in contents of science, life themes, activity types. The results of analysis were as follows. First, using the scientific inquiring skill showed lower frequency than Keeping and expanding the curiosity and enjoying the inquiry process, themes of environment ․ life and spring ․ summer ․ fall ․ winter showed high frequency, and group activities showed higher frequency than free-choice activities for science-related activities in raising inquiring attitude. Second, the contents of living things and understanding of natural environment showed the highest frequency, themes of animals ․ plants and nature including spring ․ summer ․ fall ․ winter showed high frequency, and group activities showed higher frequency than free-choice activities for specified scientific inquiry activities.

본 연구의 목적은 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서의 과학 관련 활동이 어떤 경향을 나타내는 지 누리과정 관련요소를 중심으로 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서 에서 누리과정 관련 요소를 준거로 탐구하는 태도 기르기로 명시된 활동 114개, 과학적 탐구 하기로 명시된 활동 215개를 분석 대상으로 선정하였으며, 탐구하는 태도 기르기와 과학적 탐구하기의 내용에 대한 전체적 경향, 생활 주제별, 활동 유형별 과학 관련 활동의 분포를 빈 도와 백분율로 처리하여 살펴보았다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 탐구하는 태도 기르기 로 명시된 과학 관련 활동에서는 호기심을 유지하고 확장하기와 탐구과정 즐기기의 내용에 비해 탐구기술 활용하기는 낮게 나타났으며, 환경과 생활 그리고 봄․여름․가을․겨울의 생 활 주제에서 많이 나타났고, 자유선택활동보다 대소집단활동의 빈도가 높았다. 둘째, 과학적 탐구하기로 명시된 과학 관련 활동에서는 생명체와 자연환경 알아보기의 내용이 가장 높게 나타났고, 봄․여름․가을․겨울 그리고, 동식물과 자연 주제에서 많이 나타났으며, 자유선택 활동보다 대소집단활동의 빈도가 높게 나타났다.
