The present study considered some implications and drew conclusions as below. First, this study examined 5 forms of grammatically combined Japanese emphatic compound words translated into Korean: (1)mimetic word+verb, (2)adjective+verb, (3)prefix+verb, (4)adverb+verb and (5)verb+verb. In compound words, the preceding clause conveys the meaning, while the following clause extends or reinforces the meaning of the preceding clause. When translated into Korean, the following clause is positioned before the preceding clause as a modifier emphasizing the verb, and describes the preceding clause carrying the original meaning together with mimetic words, adjectives, prefixes, adverbs and verbs, playing adverbial roles modifying the preceding clause. Second, comparing the original texts in the source language with their translated versions in the target language as in the following examples of compound verbs, the following clauses in the source language turn into the preceding clauses in the target language, and vice versa, which shows a semantic reversal.

본론에서 고찰한 시사점과 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일본어 강조 복합어의 한국어 번역 결과에서 (1)의태어+동사 (2)형용사+동사 (3)접두사+동사 (4)부사+동사 (5)동사+동사 와 같은 5가지 문법적인 결합형식을 설정하여 검토하였다. 여기서 각각의 범주의 순서는 특별한 의미를 지니지 않는다. 강조복합어는 주로 전항요소가 본래의 의미를 가지고 후항요소가 전항요소의 의미를 더욱 확장하거나 강화하는 역할을 맡는다. 한국어 번역에서는 후항요소가 전항요소 앞에 위치하여 동사를 강조하는 수식어로서 의태어, 형용사, 접두사, 부사, 동사와 함께 본래의 의미를 가진 전항요소를 수식하는 형식을 취하고 전항요소를 수식하는 부사적인 역할을 담당한다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 하기와 같은 복합동사의 예문을 검토하여 출발언어 원문과 도착언어 번역문을 비교하면 의미적으로 출발언어의 후항요소가 도착언어의 전항요소로, 출발언어의 전항요소가 도착언어의 후항요소로 변환되어 출발언어와 도착언어 간의 의미적 역전현상을 보인다.
