Ethics education today is facing new challenges(挑战). As the important factor that corresponds to the new challenges, we will count such things among the challenges associated with ecological justice depth ecology(深层生态主义), and feminist care ethics associated with the culture-feminism(文化女性主义) challenge. As Eastern-learning(東學) have been linked to these challenges, so we can find the corresponding dynamics of public-common happiness. Eastern-learning would awaken us public-common value through 'Guardiancy of Mind and Activation of Energy'(守心正氣) and 'Yin-Yang-Mutual-Harmony'(阴阳相均). Eastern-learning focus on national identity with global citizenship founded in the public-common dimensional parameter lived in the tidal wave of globalization, while advocating the dynamics of the spiritual communication by way of public-common practice. Thus, these dynamics of mental to today's ethics education in contextualizing for of measures as life reconciliation(生命和解) through the mutual-convivalence Education(相 生敎育), Public-common happiness(公共幸福), through Yun Qi creation(运氣创出), and Character education(人性敎育) activates to open new horizons of ethics education. Public-common practice of spirituality means of liberation from ideology. It can be achieved through the reality intuition of life away from the ideology of capitalism and socialism. advocating the mutual dynamics between the internal God's spirituality(内有神 灵) and the outer Energy's function. Through the dynamics of the moral imagination of the individual and togetherness of public practice, new horizons of ethics education would open public-common happiness by way of mutual-communication(相通), mutual-harmony (相和), mutual- convivalence(相生).

오늘날의 윤리교육은 새로운 도전(挑戰)에 직면해 있다. 새로운 도전에 해당되는 중요한 요인으 로 우리는 생태정의와 연관된 심층생태주의(深層生態主義)의 도전, 배려윤리와 연관된 문화여성 주의(文化女性主義)의 도전을 손꼽을 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 도전에 대하여 동학은 공공행복과 상관 연동된 가치를 제시하고 있다. 동학은 수심정기(守心正氣)의 공공가치와 음양상균(陰陽相 均)의 공공가치를 제시하고 있다. 동학은 다시개벽을 표방하면서, 선천개천에 토대를 두고 세계화의 거센 물결 속에서 한국인 으로서의 민족정체성과 세계시민성을 공공차원으로 이어주고 매개하고 살리는 맥락화용(脈絡和 用) 차원의 영성의 공공실천(public-common practice)을 가능하게 한다. 따라서 이러한 동학의 정신을 오늘의 윤리교육에 맥락화용(脈絡和用) 방안으로 살림으로써, 생명화해(生命和解) 살림살 이의 상생교육(相生敎育), 공공행복(公共幸福) 운기창출(運氣創出)의 인성교육(人性敎育)을 활성화 시켜 윤리교육의 새로운 지평을 열어나가야 할 것이다. 영성적 공공실천은 이데올로기로부터의 해방을 의미한다. 자본주의와 사회주의의 이데올로기에 서 벗어나 생명실상을 직관하여, 동학에서 표방하는 내유신령(內有神靈)과 외유기화(外有氣化)의 상승역동이 개개인의 도덕적 상상력을 통해 발휘될 때, 비로소 상생의 공공실천이 된다. 이를 통해 상통(相通)․상화(相和)․상생(相生)으로 공공행복을 개벽하는 새 지평이라고 말할 수 있다.
