The Effect of Parent-Child Communication on Upper Elementary Students` Shool Happiness : The Mediating Effect of Perception of Competence and Self-resilience

This study is to investigate the mediated effect of child’s perception of competence and self-resilience with respect to effect of communication between parents and children in the child’s happiness about school. The subjects were a total of 398 students attending 5th and 6th grade students of elementary schools located In Incheon. The results of this study are as follows: All correlation between variables is a positive relationship, respectively. This shows between parent–children the child’s perception of competence and self-resilience is increasing happiness of school children if there is open communication and there are no problems. And Happiness of school children increases the Perceived ability of Children with higher self-resiliency indicates that. Indicates that the euphoria of school children has a direct impact on the perceived competence of children cycle than this euphoria in the child's school and have an impact on the self-resilience of that affect communication between parents and children. Communication between parents and children shows that perception of competence related to the student's self-concept and self-resilience of psychological factors have effect on the child’s happiness about school.
