Detergency Performance of Adherent Pollutant of Silicate-Based Antifouling Coating Material

This study try to finding the detergency performance of adherent pollutant on the concrete surface by using developed silicate-based antifouling coating material. Developed coating material coated on the surface of concrete test piece and after 30 mimutes, overlay already coated concrete surface. After 7 days, the surface is polluted with crayongs and oily magic marker. After 24 hours, contaminated area was cleaned with water. The result of detergency performance test, the crayons and oily magic marker is wiped clean. As conclusion, this study confirmed that the developed antifouling coating could be used as a antifouling coating material for the concrete surface.
