The purpose of this study lies in finding out the basic understanding level on Waldorf early childhood education by the parents and teachers who are directly connected to early children's development and education, and seeking into the ways to raise actual effectualness and vividness of Waldorf early childhood education. In this study, the educational goals, educational content, composed environment, teaching/learning method of Waldorf early childhood education in the way parents and teachers were understanding. Findings of the tangent through the Waldorf early ehildhood education, parents and teachers with positive beliefs and positive outlook Waldorf education that are interpreted to show interest. Waldorf education to the development of a more intensified teacher training and parent education will be needed.

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 발달과 교육에 직접적인 관련이 되는 학부모와 교사를 통해 발도르프 유아교육에 대한 기초적 이해를 알아보고 발도르프 유아교육의 실제적 효과성과 현장감을 높일 수 있는 방법을 모색해 보 는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 발도르프 유아교육의 교육목표, 교육내용, 환경구성, 교수방법에 있어서 부모와 교사 의 이해도를 조사하였다. 조사 결과를 통해 발도르프 유아교육을 접하는 학부모, 교사들은 긍정적 신념으로 발 도르프 교육을 전망하며 긍정적 관심을 보여주고 있다고 해석된다. 발도르프 교육의 발전을 위해서는 더욱 심 화된 교사교육 및 부모교육이 필요할 것이다.
