영어
The purpose of this study was to analyze factors of stress that students attending at the skin beauty department experience during their field practice, providing basic information necessary to help reduce that stress and make more effective the on-the-spot process. For the purpose, this researcher conducted a questionnaire survey of 272 students attending at the Dermatology departments of colleges located in Busan and Gyeongnam who experienced field practices at skin care, hair, make-up, nail art and other beauty-related businesses from Oct. 15th to 21st, 2012. Data obtained from the survey were statistically processed using the SPSS WIN 18.0 Program. With the data, more specifically, frequency and percent numbers that represent general characteristics of those students were calculated. And how much they felt stress from the field practices was examined through the t-test, One-way ANOVA, chi-square test and frequency analysis. The findings of this study can be summarized in the following. The degree of stress that the students felt in relation to role and action varied significantly depending on how much they were satisfied at their college major. And how much the participants felt stress in relation to ideal and value was significantly different depending on the degree of their college major satisfaction. Generally, thus, stress from field practice that skin beauty students experienced was significantly different in accordance with how much they feel satisfaction about their college major. In order to reduce stress that students feel from their field practice, school and the beauty industry should work together to improve academic courses or studies that involve that practice as well as the environment of the field process.
