The purpose of this study is to suggest Hyo Education to improve the leadership of children by proving the relationship between leadership of children and Hyo consciousness and Hyo conduct. Therefore, this study will provide implications for leadership and Hyo education for the child. The result of this research are as follows; 1) How is the relationship of Hyo consciousness and leadership of children? As the result, Hyo consciousness have the positive correlation with the 7 factors of leadership (communication skill, decision making skill, relationship skill, learning ability skill, group management skill, self-understanding skill, group activity skill. It means that the higher the level of Hyo consciousness is, the better children’s leadership is. 2) How did Hyo consciousness and conduct affect on children’s leadership? In general, Hyo conduct in society that is one of Hyo conduct, had the greatest affect on the leadership of children, the survey said. It reflects that the more Hyo conduct in society that is one of Hyo conduct has better influence to the leadership of children. Therefore it proves that the improvement healthy mutual relationship of Hyo education is related with leadership improvement. Through such the result, I suggest that the practical Hyo education on the spot is the process to produce relationship-centered leadership.

본 연구의 목적은 아동의 리더십과 효 의식 및 효 실천과의 관계를 증명함으로써 아동의 리더십 함양을 위한 효 교육을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구자는 인천시내 초등학교 7개교에 재학 중인 아동을 선정하여 효의식 및 효 실천과 리더십 정도를 측정하여 변인간의 상관관계 분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 효 의식과 리더십의 하위영역인 의사소통기술, 의사결정기술, 인간관계 기술, 학습능력 기술, 집단관리 기술, 자기이해 기술, 집단활동 기술과 모두 긍정적인 상관관계를 보여 주고 있어 아동의 효 의식이 클수록 아동의 리더십이 커진다고 할 수 있다. 또한 아동의 효 실천 역시 효 실천 의식이 클수록 아동의 리더십이 커진다고 할 수 있다. 회귀분석 결과는 효 의식은 아동의 리더십에 의미 있는 영향력을 미치고 있었으며 효 실천에서는 사회에서의 효 실천이 리더십에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 변인으로 확인되었다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 효 교육의 건강한 상호관계함양은 리더십 증진과 관련이 있음이 규명됨에 따라 현장에서의 실천적 효 교육이 관계적 리더를 배출하는 과정임을 제안하였다.
