Jaecheon, Chungcheongbok-Do has started the project that makes Korean’s favorite song, “Crying and walking up Bakdaljae”’s background, Bakdaljae famous since 2011. As the core business, Korean song history memorial has been established, which is to commemorate the Korean greatest singers, composers, lyric writers including the late sir Ban Ya-wol in order to make “Bakdaljae” tourist attractions. Therefore this treatise aims to study a primary direction of exhibition planning for next steps of memorial’s establishment. The exhibition tries to shed new light on pop songs’s meaning under the principle of combining social and art historical value, and also it composes participatory exhibit about sound technology and producing principle. Accordingly, this article suggest the direction of permanent and temporary exhibition‘s theme planning, and reinforcement of professionalism in exhibition management.

충청북도 제천 시에서는 지역의 대표 관광지이자, 한국인의 애창곡 ‘울고 넘는 박달재’의 배
경되는 박달재를 명소화하려는 사업을 2011년부터 활발히 진행해 오고 있다. 그 가운데 한국가요사기념관을 핵심 사업으로 준비함에 따라 ‘울고 넘는 박달재’의 작사가 故 반야월 선생을 비롯한 한국의 대중가요사를 빛낸 작사가, 작곡가, 가수를 기념함으로써 박달재를 역사와 테마가 어우러지는 관광명소로 자리매김하고자 한다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 추후 기념관의 건립에 도움이 되도록 한국가요사기념관의 전시기획 기본 방향을 연구하는 것을 목표로 한다. 전시는 대중가요의 사회사적, 예술사적 가치를 통합한다는 원칙 아래 대중가요의 주제적 접근과 대중가요인에 대한 재조명을 시도하고, 음향기술 및 대중가요 제작의 원리를 체험형으로 구성하는 구도를 갖는다. 이에 따라 상설전과 기획전, 온라인전시에 대한 주제 기획의 방향을 제시하고, 사료 연구와 전시 운영방안에서의 전문성을 강화할 것을 제안하게 된다.
