The victims of childhood sexual abuse and their family members are subject to significant psychological trauma as a result of the experience. Over a length of time, and the perpetrators are frequently relatives. If the child victims and/or the perpetrators of the crime do not come forward, the abuses can°Øtbe investigated, nor can the victims be protected. Almost 60% of the victims of childhood sexual abuse were found via statistical calculations based on the characteristics of the relationships between victims and perpetrators. Generally, in cases of childhood sexual abuse, the crimes are perpetrated by relatives and are persistently practiced for a prolonged length of time, often until the victims reach adulthood. The profiles of 139 victims surveyed in the Jeonbuk region were analyzed in order to prevent these abuses in the future. The author highlights the victims ability to recognize the perpetrator(s) face, the perpetrators and the victims themselves in this study.

아동 성 폭력은 가까운 친족에 의해 범해지는 경우가 많고, 또한 지속적으로 행해지는 특성을 갖고 있어 피해아동의 정신적 피해와 가족들이 겪는 고통은 매우 크다. 아동 성 폭력은 피해 아동과 가해자가 밝히지 않는 한 사실을 밝히기 어렵고, 피해 아동이 자신을 보호할 수 있는 능력이 없고, 성폭력 범죄의 일반적인 특성 가운데 가해자와의 관계를 보면 최소한 가해자와 피해자간의 안면이 어느 정도 있 는 사이에서 발생하는 경우가 60% 이상 차지하고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다.1 특히 아동 성 폭력의 경우에는 친족에 의해 범해지는 경우가 많고, 이러한 피해는 성인이 된 이후에도 지속되는 것으로 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 전북ONE-STOP 센터에서 조사되어진 성폭력 피해아동 139명을 대상으로 전북지역의 아동 성 폭력 범죄의 특이성을 분석하여 전북지역의 아동 성 폭력 범죄에서 나타나는 범행의 특이성을 피해자의 면식여부, 피해자, 가해자 등을 중심으로 비교분석하여 예방책을 마련하고자 하였다.
