Our Era, the so-called Knowledge-based Society characterizes a rapid change for adapting organization to new era and building competitiveness of organization. This trend calls for principal's emotional leadership which is related to social and emotional intelligences for bringing advancement at school organization where every member is entitled to autonomy. Constant growth of school presupposes teacher-centered learning organization and therefore teachers' self-directed learning should be activated on the aspect of life-long learning. Furthermore, school organization strives for increasing teachers' work efficiency and job satisfaction through working process reengineering in purpose of stabilizing and developing the organization. It also put an emphasis on teachers' job involvement by every teacher's attachment on the school organization. This research first theoretically overviews the impact that principal's emotional leadership and teachers' self-directed learning ability and job satisfaction have on organizational commitment on the part of teachers. Then, we will syntagmatically inspect the interaction process of the factors above; principal's emotional leadership and teachers' self-directed learning ability and job satisfaction. Finally, this research is meaningful for exploring desirable life-long education method on enhancing teachers' school organizational commitment through enhancing principal's emotional leadership and teachers' self-directed learning ability and job satisfaction.

자율적 성격이 강한 학교조직에서 변화와 발전을 위하여 새로운 자극을 받고 있 다. 그 첫번째가 감성적 지능과 관련된 학교장의 감성리더십에 관심이 높아지고 있 으며, 교사 중심의 학습조직과 그 근간을 이루는 교사들의 자기주도적 학습에 대한 열기가 높아지고 있다. 또한 교사의 업무 혁신을 통한 역할 수행과 직무만족을 높이 려는 노력이 많아지고 있으며, 교사들의 조직에 대한 애착을 높임으로써 조직의 헌 신을 위한 몰입을 중요시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학교장의 감성리더십과 교사의 자기주도적 학습능력 및 직무 만족이 교사의 학교조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 교사의 학교조직 몰입을 높이기 위한 바람직한 평생학습적 방법을 모색하는데 그 의미가 있다고 하겠다.
