Among the guardians of the disabled students, 54.4 percent visited a dental clinic over the last year. 34.4 percent had their teeth cleaned on a regular basis, and 32.1 percent got dental checkups to prevent oral diseases. 4. Regarding the oral health behavior of the students by the type of guardian, whether they had the students brushed their teeth within three minutes after having a meal was asked, and the teachers (4.29±.871) and the parents (4.04±.887) (p<0.05). As a result of asking them whether they had the students get their teeth cleaned on a regular basis or not, the teachers scored highest (3.38±1.155) and the parents (2.69±1.125) (p<0.05). As to another question whether they had the students get dental checkups for the prevention of oral diseases, the teachers scored highest (3.32±1.47), followed by the parents (2.62±1.091) (p<0.05). 5. In regard to the correlation of oral health behavior, those who spent three minutes or more brushing their teeth all the time closely brushed their tongue as well (p<0.01), made use of oral hygiene supplies (p<0.01), visited a dental clinic over the past year (p<0.05), had their teeth cleaned (p<0.01) and got regular dental checkups to prevent oral diseases (p<0.01).
