School parents education program is necessary to success of creativity and character education, because home is very important place where the student get learning emotion and character development. Especially, in order to rear create children, it is necessary to more active role and support of school parents. Student education deeply influenced by home education such as learning motivation, character development. And the successful or not for creativity and character education based on school parent understanding. School parent understanding of creativity and character education is necessary to new direction in school education. School parent must be good helper of youth growth process therefore, development of school parent education program for creativity and character education is urgently needed. The purpose of this paper is to survey on perception level of school parent for holistic creativity and character education and to develop school parent education program. The analysis of result of this study reveal that school parents's attention and participation increase children's creativity and emotional capacity.

창의성과 인성을 겸비한 인재를 양성하기 위해서는 교과교육만으로는 이루어지지 않는다. 창의적 체험학습활동과 같은 비교과 영역의 활동 프로그램개발이 무엇보다도 중요하며, 창의․인성교육이 성공적으로 정착되기 위해서는 학부모의 이해와 참여가 필요하다. 가정은 학습동기 부여, 인성개발 등 학생들의 교육에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 곳으로 학부모의 인식 정도가 창의성과 인성교육의 성패를 좌우할 수 있다. 특히 창의성교육이 학교에서 핵심 교육 및 기록․평가 항목이 되고 상급 학교 진학과도 연계됨에 따라 학교교육의 새로운 경향에 대한 학부모의 이해가 필수적이다. 그리고 창의적인 아이들을 길러 내기 위해서는 조력자로서 좀 더 적극적인 학부모의 역할이 필요하다. 이를 위해 창의․인성교육을 위한 학부모 대상 교육 프로그램의 필요성은 매우 절실하다고 할 수 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 창의‧인성교육에 필요한 학부모의 자녀교육 역량 제고를 위해 학부모 인식도를 조사하고 이를 바탕으로 창의·인성 인재양성을 위한 학부모교육 프로그램을 개발하는 데 있다.
