School violence is an object of whole social concern raising its head according to both of violence by students like assault, treat and violence toward student. School violence become more terrible and serious. As examined previously, the government has established countless measures to solve the problem of school violence. School violence is a complicated issue that combines various elements, such as personal characteristics, home, school, and the community. In order to solve the underlying causes of school violence, it is necessary to examine various causes and make a fountain approach to the problem, rather than implementing temporarily improvised solution. The purpose of this study was to examine school violence analyzed the causes of school violence and to present plans the for prevention of school violence. Thus, it is important to encourage home, schools, and the local community to come together and make seamless efforts to prevent school violence. To essentially tackle violence in school, consistent measures to make both preven. tion and fact-finding survey should be conducted within society rather than temporary measures to cope with accidents. Even the best solution is useless without efforts. Thus it is important to encourage home, school, and the local community to come together and make seamless effort to prevent school violence.

학교폭력이 또 다시 우리사회의 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 학교폭력의 피해로 인한 자살증가, 학교폭력의 저연령화, 집단화, 폭력에 대한 인식부족, 폭력의 잔인화로 학교폭력의 피해정도의 수준이 증가하고 있으며, 학생들 사이에서 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 또한 가해학생들의 학교폭력에 대한 인식이 무감각하고 일상화 되어 아무런 죄책감을 느끼기 어렵고 폭력을 목격한 학생 역시 적절하게 대처하지 못하고 있어 날로 그 심각성이 더해지고 있다. 학교폭력의 근절을 위한 많은 노력에도 불구하고 학교폭력은 줄지 않고 끊임없이 일어나고 있어 학교, 가정, 사회에 위협을 주고 있다. 일반적으로 학교폭력의 유발요인은 개인적 특성의 차이, 발달과정에서 나타나는 현상, 가정환경, 학교환경, 사회·문화적 현상 등 다양한 요인이 있다. 학교폭력은 하나의 요인으로 발생하기 보다는 다양한 요인이 서로 상호작용하여 나타나는 경우가 대부분이다. 학교폭력을 예방할 수 있는 근원적이고 구체적인 해결책을 모색하기 위해서 먼저 학교폭력 요인을 분석이 선행되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학교폭력 요인 분석을 토대로 학교폭력을 예방할 수 있는 근원적이고 실제적인 방안을 탐구하고자 한다.
