This study aimed at comprehending the problem in teaching the dance for all which is presently focused on technique transfer and applying the storytelling technique as an alternative solution to this teaching method. For this purpose, storytelling technique was introduced for instruction of dance for all through finding out the possible problems in the teaching method based on practical research and examining the relationship between production desire fundamental to storytelling and motivation for participation in dance. Thus, questionnaire was utilized to analyze the influence on technique transfer method and learning concentration, relationship between production desire and motivation, and factors related to the interest degree of dance for all. The result showed that the learning concentration on dance decreased as the technique was transferred or improved. Unlike this, it indicated that the positive effect on dance for all was given to motivation as the production desire became increased. Among such components as physical factor, mental factor, and social factor that enable the interest degree to become high, the social factor turned to be the most influential. Based on the results, this research would help to improve the teaching method for dance for all by applying the storytelling type with some mental factor added in order to enhance this sort of dance.

본 연구는 현재 기술전수 중심의 생활무용 지도방식의 문제점에 대해 파악하고, 현재 생활무용 지도방식에 스토 리텔링 기법을 활용하기 위한 방안을 모색하기 위해 연구가 진행되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 실증연구를 통 하여 현재 기술전수의 수업방식에 대한 문제점을 파악하고 스토리텔링의 중심이 되는 창작욕구와 생활무용 참여 의 동기부여 관계성을 고찰하여 생활무용 지도 방식에 스토리텔링 기법을 도입하려 하였다. 이를 위하여 설문지 를 통해 기술전달 수업방식과 수업 몰입도의 영향, 창작욕구와 동기부여와의 관계, 그리고 생활무용의 흥미도와 관련되어 있는 요인들을 분석해보았다. 그 결과 생활무용의 기술이 전달되거나 향상될수록 생활무용 몰입도가 떨 어진다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그에 반해 창작욕구가 증가할수록 생활무용의 동기부여에 긍정적 영향을 미친 다는 결과가 나타났다. 생활무용의 흥미도를 높일 수 있는 요인에는 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 요인 중에서 사회적 요인이 두드러진 영향력이 나타났다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 생활무용의 부흥을 위하여 정신적 요인을 가미한 스토리텔링 기법의 도입으로 인하여 생활무용 지도 방안의 향상을 도모하고자 한다.
