This study aims to identify what influence factors of living environment have on school maladjustment of adolescents and what relationship between school maladjustment and depression and urge to deviate there is through a cause and effect model and present political suggestions for future education. To achieve the purpose, the study analysed previous studies and developed a research model and a hypothesis. First, factors of living environment were divided into family relationship, friendship and studying stress as cause variables and factors of school maladjustment were divided into teacher maladjustment and studying maladjustment as mediating variables. Depression and urge to deviate were designated as resultant variables. The subjects of the study were middle and high school students of Gwangju city and they were interviewed with a use of the questionnaire. Then, what difference variables included in the research model have according to sex, schools, scores and family's financial status was analysed. Also, the study demonstrated what effects factors of living environment which have an important effect on behaviors of adolescents have on school maladjustment and on depression and urge to deviate through a cause and effect model. Further, based on results of the analysis, the study suggested political suggestions to overcome adolescents' school maladjustment, depression and urge to deviate.

본 연구는 청소년들을 대상으로 생활환경요인이 학교부적응에 어떤 영향을 미치며, 학교부적응이 우울과 일탈충동에 어떠한 관련성이 있는가를 인과모형을 통해 검증하여 봄으로서 정책적 시사점을 도출하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 선행연구 검토를 통하여 변수를 도출하여 연구의 모형과 가설을 설정하였다. 먼저 청소년들의 생활환경요인을 가족관계, 교우관계, 학업스트레스관계를 원인변수로, 학교부적응요인을 교사부적응과 학업부적응으로 구분하여 매개변수로 구성하고, 우울과 일탈충동을 결과변수로 선정하였다. 본 연구는 표본집단을 광주광역시의 중·고등학교 청소년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구방법 및 절차는 연구모형에 포함된 변수에 대하여 성별, 학교, 성적, 가정경제상태에 따라 어떠한 차이를 보이고 있는지를 분석하였다. 또한 청소년의 행태에 중요한 영향을 미치는 생활환경요인이 학교부적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 우울 및 일탈충동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 인과모형을 통해 검증하였다. 나아가 분석결과를 토대로 청소년의 학교부적응과 우울 및 일탈충동을 줄이기 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.
