Leakages of advanced industrial technologies to overseas markets have been broadened from electrical and electronics engineering, and telecommunications to all industries including automobile, shipbuilding, chemicals, and mechanics. Companies, universities, and research institutes consider protecting such technologies from leakages as a matter of survival. Therefore, this research focused on the facts of increase in the leakages of advanced industrial technologies, and as the seriousness of such leakages are more recognized, the role and function of technical security to prevent the leakages.

첨단산업 기술의 해외 유출사건은 전기전자 정보통신 분야에서 자동차 조선을 포함한 기계 화학등 전 분야로 확대되고 있고, 기업 대학 연구소 등에서 기술보호는 생존의 문제로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기술유출 사건이 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 그 심각성이 인식되면서 기술 유출 방지를 위한 다양한 보안시스템 구축 방법 등 기술적 보안측면에서 어떤 조치들이 취해져야 하는지에 대해 초점을 맞추어 연구하였다.
