The purpose of the study is to determine whether it is possible to distinguish people by their handwriting using discriminating power and relevant. Experts in forensic document analysis all around the world daily perform examination to determine the authorship of a questioned document. we are present a study discriminating power and relevant using experience and computational method for nine characters{이(ㅣ), 자 (ㅏ), 희(ㅡ,ㅣ), 민(ㅣ), 한(ㅏ), 현(ㅕ), 안(ㅏ), 선(ㅓ), 종(ㅗ)} of the same characters. Through experiments, It is shown that most of the vertical vowel's studied, do possess strong relevant, which justifies their use in forensic analysis of handwriting. The results also show that the complicated type significantly higher discriminating power than any of the simple type. handwriting identification is necessary that not only experience in their discriminating power but also computational method.

필적감정에서는 필적특징의 항상성과 차별성을 결정하여 동일인의 필적여부를 판단하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 2명 이상의 필적에 포함된 9자{이(ㅣ), 자(ㅏ), 희(ㅡ,ㅣ), 민(ㅣ), 한(ㅏ), 현(ㅕ), 안(ㅏ), 선(ㅓ), 종(ㅗ)}에 대하여 경험적 방법, 계측방법을 이용하여 항상성과 차별성을 확인하는 것이다. 계측방법의 경우 모음은 높은 항상성을 가지는 것이 확인되었고 단순한 구조(type 1)의 유형보다 복잡한 구조(type 3,4,5), 자획의 점이 오른쪽(ㅏ)보다 왼쪽에 위치하는 문자(ㅕ)에서 높은 차별성이 확인되었다. 추가적으로 경험적 방법에 계측방법을 보완하여 감정결과의 신뢰성을 제시하였다. 향후 서명 전체의 문자형태에 대해 특징분류기준의 확립이 요구된다. 또한 경험적 방법으로 확인된 희소성의 세부 특징점의 데이터베이스를 구축하여 컴퓨터 자동화 알고리즘이 추가 연구하는 것이 필요하다.
