This case is about securing crime scene and crime scene investigation of the case of murder. The case is to refer the importance of these two factors that can be used to collect conclusive evidence and also can be used as the evidence of guiltiness to solve the case. This case was focused on the place if the place that a dead body was found is the place body was left, or the place the person was murdered. The evidence that the place was the first place that the crime occurred was proved by the crime scene investigation and the accurate decipher of the crime scene photograph taken ate the place where the dead body was found, and these were helpful for the case study. As a result of comparing the circumstance that was recomposed by the evidence from the crime scene investigation and the circumstance that was reconstructed by the suspect, the place was coincident with the actual spot the suspect committed the crime. Therefore, this case awakened the importance of forensic science, such as the crime scene investigation.

본 사례는 살인사건에서의 현장보존과 현장기록을 포함한 현장조사에 대한 원칙을 준하여야 함을 알려준 사례로써 사건해결에 필요한 결정적인 증거물을 채취하고 기록해두어야 유죄를 입증하는 증거로 사용할 수 있다는 점을 알려준 것이다. 사체 발견지점이 1차 살해현장인지 유기된 장소인지가 초기쟁점 사항이었는데, 철저한 현장 감식과 사체발견현장에서 최초 촬영한 범죄현장사진의 정확한 판독으로 그 곳이 최초 범죄현장으로 단정할 수 있는 단서가 제공되어 사건 수사에 도움을 줄 수 있었으며, 이후 범인을 검거 재구성하였던 당시의 상황과 범인들이 실제로 하였던 재연 상황을 비교해 본 결과 그곳에서 범행을 실행하였던 현장이었음이 일치하였다.
