In this paper, we propose a meet in the middle attack on block cipher CIKS-1, which can find a master key with the probability 1−2−64. Although it looks so trivial and straight, our attack has a very significant implication on cryptographic point of view.

본 논문에서는 블록암호 CIKS-1 에 대한 중간-일치 공격을 제시한다. 이 공격은 1−2−64 확률로 CIKS-1 의 마스터 키를 찾을 수 있는 공격으로, 블록 암호의 안전성을 평가하는 관점에서는 상당한 의미를 지니고 있다.
