Overarching reflection of the traditional system of education and universial mind has occurred with the arrival the new future trend. Especially with the emergency of the new future which argues against the traditional system of education and supports the revision of existing system of education, critical reflection on traditional way of thinking is a necessity. Theses phenomena have led to new critical discourse on present christian education and to more discussion on the construction of christian education for the new future in both theological and practical dimensions. Based on recent critical discourse about the new future, this paper attempt to explore the following three topics. First, it describes the new future trend. The representative tendency of the society is ‘high tech, high touch.’ With technology getting better, human feel keenly the importance of relationships. In this context, Daniel Pink who is the most noteworthy a futurologist in this period of history explains that core competency for the new future are design, empathy, meaning, play, harmony. By the Development of digital Technology and social network system, the capacity of interaction and integration becomes more and more important. Theses social changes require the alteration of educational system, and a revolution in thought. In this sense, the present system of education has changed with the times. The future education ought to allow students to learn more about cooperation with others, caring for friends, understanding difference, empathy with the weak and get a mature sense of citizenship for their future community and life. To achieve this, we also have to focus on improving artistic sense and the humanities field in Christian education. Christian education for the new future supports that Knowledge about God working in the World and crying for the weak ought to get into concrete praxis and the mind in everyday life.

빠른 속도로 다가오는 변화의 흐름은 우리 사회 전반에 걸쳐 새로운 도전과 개혁을 요 구한다. 미래에 대한 다양한 예측들이 있지만 미래학자 다니엘 핑크는 하이테크, 하이터 치, 하이컨셉의 시대로 설명한다. 그에 의하면 디자인, 스토리, 조화, 공감, 놀이, 의미는 앞으로 미래 인재의 여섯가지 조건이다. 렉스 밀러는 디지털시대의 상호작용과 소셜네트 워크 시대의 통합의 능력의 시대라 설명한다. 이러한 시대의 변화는 교육에 있어서도 주 요한 변화를 가져오게 한다. 디지털 시대의 테크놀로지의 발전이 가져오는 교육의 형식은 어디서나 언제든지 교육을 받을 수 있는 교육의 개방성과 효율성을 증진시키지만 한편으 로는 테크놀로지속에서 소외 될 수 있는 인간관계의 깊이 및 공감능력, 놀이를 통한 관계 능력등이 교육현장안에서 더욱 강조되어야 하는 교육적 방법이 되어야 한다. 또한 다양한 소셜 네트워크 속에서 다양한 인종, 문화, 종교등을 접하면서 이러한 다양성들을 통합하고 이해할 수 있는 능력과 비판적으로 성찰하고 사색하는 능력이 더욱 필요가 시기가 되는 것이다. 하워드 가드너는 이러한 미래적 삶을 위한 마인드로, 훈련하는 마음, 종합하는 마 음, 창조하는 마음, 존중하는 마음, 윤리적인 마음 이 필요하다고 설명한다. 이러한 맥락에서 연구자가 제시하는 통전적 기독교교육 모형은 18세기의 고전적 과학 주의의 영향에 기인하는 현대인들의 분열되고, 파편화된 신앙과 삶의 현상들을 극복하려 는 차원에서 20세기에 등장한 신과학운동의 유기체론적 세계관에 기초한 기독교교육의 새 로운 접근 가능성을 탐구한 것이다. 연구자가 제시한 바람직한 통전적 기독교교육의 모형 은 기독교적 관점에서 모든 만물의 창조자이신 하나님을 중심으로 하나님－인간－사회문 화－자연이라는 제 차원들이 상호 유기적으로 연결되어 있다는 인식아래 인간의 변화와 성장을 추구하는 인격적, 공동체적 접근이 그 특징이라고 하겠다. 종합하면 공감, 이해, 통합, 성찰, 윤리 능력을 미래 마인드인 것이다. 이러한 마인드를 기초로 하여 시민의식을 책임적으로 실천하는 공공연대적 삶을 살도록 지향하는 교육이 되어야 한다. 이를 위하여 학교는 ‘이익을 추구하는 교육’이라는 편협한 교육적 지향성에서 벗어나서 민주적인 삶, 연대적인 삶, 공공적인 삶을 지향하는 교육의 장이 되어어야 한다. 이러한 교육을 위하여 기독교 교육현장에서는 공공신학적 관점에서 기독교교육을 설계 하여 제자직에 대한 교육과 더불어 공적시민으로서 책임적이며 공공적 삶을 사는 것에 대 한 교육이 필요하다. 아울러 예술과 인문학에 대한 종합학문적이고 간학문적인 교육시도 들이 이루어져 감성을 더욱 풍요롭게 하고 연대적 삶에 대한 공감능력을 함양하는 것이 필요하다.
