이 연구에서는 최근 성범죄를 저지른 범인의 대부분이 성인(음란)물을 지속적으로 접해왔다는 사실이 알려지고, 청소년 성범죄의 심각성이 점차 대두됨에 따라 청소년 성범죄를 다시 정의해보고, 청소년의 성인물 이용현황 및 접촉 실태에 대해 살펴보았 다. 그 중 성인물의 중독을 짐작할 수 있는 의미 있는 결과를 찾아냈으며, 거기에 성 적 일탈 행동 가능성이 나와 이들이 향후 올바른 성적가치관이 성립되지 않는다면 청 소년시기 뿐만 아니라 성인이 되어서도 성인물을 통한 성범죄의 발생도 초래할 수 있 다는 예측도 가능할 수 있다는 결론을 이끌어내었다. 이를 토대로 제도적 정비와 공 급자의 강한 처벌, 수요자의 원천적 봉쇄 방안 등을 제시하였다.
