The main purpose of this research is to find out the relationship among soccer players' tendency of perfectionism, self-management, and competition anxiety. After the research, there was partial correlations between perfectionism sub-factors and the soccer player's self management. Namely, parental expectations and criticisms, and the pressures from the coach was largely related to the player's interpersonal relationship management, mental management, and activity management. The sub-factors of perfectionism and the anxiety that come out by participating in the soccer match are partially related to each other. In other words, parental expectations and criticisms, concerns on mistakes, and personal standards are related to physical and emotional anxiety and personal confidence. Perfectionism is affected in partially different way by the influence of each different player's self management sub-factors. Namely, parental expectations and the coach's pressure acts positively on a player, but parental criticism negatively affects self management. Depending on the sub-factors, perfectionism partially contributes to the player feeling restless during the competition. Namely, parental expectation is positively related to competition anxiety, but the personal standards and anxiety over mistakes are negatively related.
