The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the game commitment and sport coping of female soccer players on their self-management. The subjects in this study were 285 female high school and college soccer players who registered with Korea Women's Football Federation. As for data analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis and standard multiple regression analysis were utilized. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the game commitment of the female soccer players exerted an influence on their self-management. Interpersonal management and training management had a statistically significant impact on attitudinal commitment, and mental management and training management affected behavioral commitment in a statistically significant way. Second, the sport coping of the female soccer players exercised a significant influence on their self-management. Problem-centered coping was under the statistically significant influence of interpersonal management and physical management, and emotion- centered coping was statistically significantly affected by mental management and physical management. Avoidance was under the statistically significant influence of physical management, and aloofness was statistically significantly affected by interpersonal management, mental management and physical management.
