Though the ethnicity and nature of Korean-Japanese is the universal thing in Korean-Japanese literature, these in might be called a peculiarity in general literature. The author resolve things of chosun and ethnic in Korean-Japanese in addition to the generality. ｢Raii｣ of Yang ji-Lee that bridge 1st and 2nd and 3rd generation of Korean-Japanese was explored in view of literary universality. Literary works of Yang ji-Lee called the 3rd generation literature are dealing with the special circumstances of Korean-Japanese, but these are regarded as individual things and no one even gets out of the situation. They accept themselves just rather deny the home country so her works reach the road of universal lirtature. Eventually, in the work of ｢Gak｣ the Japan-Korean unhappiness which was located deep in the heart shows slightly through Suni's student life in Korea. Peculiarity of Korean-Japanese in Yang ji-Lee’s work is seen as universal view of man misfortune environment. So the motive of universality in ｢Gak｣ is shown as human happiness and unhappiness oneself, a woman’s physiological and make-up experience, existing of Korean-Japanese etc. But, ｢Raii｣is looking for universality through human-relationship of character.

재일한국인문학에 있어서 민족성이나 재일성은 재일한국인 문학에서는 보편적인 것이지만, 문학전반에서 보았을 때, 재일한국인문학이기 때문에 가질 수 있는 특수성이라고 말할 수 있을 것이다. 필자는 재일한국인 문학의 ‘조선적인 것’, ‘민족적인 것’이라고 하는 재일한국인문학의 특수성에 대비해서, ‘자아’, ‘실존’의 표출을 보편적인 것이라고 규정해 보았다. 그리고, 재일 1,2세대와 3세대를 연결하는 역할을 하고 있다고 생각하는 이양지의 ｢来意｣를 중심으로 ｢문학적 보편성｣에 대해서 살펴보았다. 재일한국인문학의 문학적 보편성을 알아보는 데 있어서, 주로 이양지의 작품을 살펴본 계기는 이양지의 작품은 재일한국인 의 특수한 상황을 다루고 있지만, 그것은 개인인 자기 자신의 문제로 보고 스스로 해결하려고 하고 있다. 또 그 상황을 벗어나려고도 하지 않았다. 오히려 궁극적으로는 있는 그대로의 자기 자신을 받아들이려고 하고 있다. 이 자체로 보편적인 문학의 길로 접어들었다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 작품 ｢刻 ｣에서는 재일한국인이라고 하는 불행을 순이의 한국유학생활을 통해서 표면에 나타내고 있다. ｢刻 ｣에 있어서 보편성의 모티브는 인간 그 자체의 행복과 불행, 그리고 자존감, 재일로서의 존재감 등을 들 수 있을 것이다. 이에 비해 2년 뒤의 작품인 ｢来意｣에서는 Y라는 등장인물을 통해서 주인공 도모히로는 무엇보다 자신에 대한 깊은 통찰이 있어야 하고 그러한 깊이 있는 시선으로 상대를 볼 때에 그 상대에 대해 이기적이지 않은 올바른 시선을 가질 수 있음을 깨닫게 된다. 인간 누구나가 느끼는 내면의 복잡함, 단순히 선과 악이 아닌 인간관계를 통한 내면묘사를 도모히로를 통해 보편적인 시선으로 그리고 있다.
