The purpose of this study is to provide data on the training of the international construction plant project secretary by analyzing their duties and tasks using DACUM method. In order to achieve the research objective, in-depth interview, DACUM, and survey methods were used. Using DACUM method, 10 duties and 101 tasks were identified as international construction plant project secretary's job contents. The level of importance, frequency, and difficulty was measured for each task by analyzing 99 secretaries' responses. Based on the level of these three categories, 25 key tasks were derived. Among 25 key tasks, 16 key tasks were found to have unique job features of the international construction plant project secretary when compared with corporate secretary. The result of this study can be utilized to develop training contents for business education institutions to train future plant project secretaries as well as on-the-job training materials. Also it can be utilized as a reference guide to hire and manage human resources in Korean construction company. The contribution of this study is to analyze job contents of newly emerging job.

이 연구의 목적은 최근에 와서 비서 분야의 새로운 영역으로 부각되면서 수요가 늘고 있는 해외플랜트 프로젝트 비서의 직무를 분석하고 핵심작업을 도출하여 해외플랜트 프로젝트 비서의 직무능력 향상을 위한 직무 교육 내용 개발과 프로젝트 비서 전문화를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 심층면접, DACUM 직무분석, 설문조사 등을 실시하였다. 여덟 명의 사용자, 헤드헌트, 비서들을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하여 프로젝트 비서의 특성 및 기업비서와의 차이점을 파악하였다. 현직비서 5명을 대상으로 DACUM 직무분석을 실시하여 10개의 과업과 101개의 작업을 도출하고 130명의 비서들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 99개의 유효 설문을 분석하여 도출된 작업의 중요도, 난이도, 빈도를 파악하였다. 중요도, 난이도, 빈도를 바탕으로 총 25 개의 핵심작업(key task)을 도출하였다. 이 연구에서 도출된 25개의 핵심작업 중 16개의 작업이 해외플랜트 프로젝트 비서의 고유한 업무로 나타났다. 이 연구는 해외 플랜트 수주 증가로 많은 수요가 예상되는 해외플랜트 프로젝트 비서라는 새로운 전문 직업 영역을 제시하는 데에 그 의의가 있을 수 있겠다. 또한 연구 결과는 상업교육 분야에 있어 해외플랜트 프로젝트 비서와 관련된 교육과정을 개발하는데 있어 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
