A Study on relationship between college student as pre-service early childhood teacher's self-esteem and professionalism recognition in Gyeongju

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation between college student as pre-service early childhood teacher's self-esteem and professionalism recognition in Gyeongju. The data was collected by questionnaires method from 219 college students. The instruments were college student self-esteem and professionalism recognition. The results of the study were as follows : (1) Pre- service early childhood teachers' self-esteem meaningfully related to their professionalism recognition positively exclusive socio-economics level. (2) The only variable, the relationship with others of early childhood teachers' self-esteem has influence on their professionalism recognition. In summary, preparatory early childhood teachers to be good early childhood education teachers, self-esteem has significant implication for professionalism recognition.
