Languages and Cultures are inseparable in the teaching. The directions of integrating language and culture are divided into Language-Based Culture Teaching (LBCT) and Culture-Based Language Teaching (CBLT). This paper attempts to map out an effective approach of LBCT for low-grade Chinese Korean learners in China. Firstly, the current situation of culture teaching was investigated to find out the problems by focusing on the contents in textbooks which are using in the intensive reading course. It is important to teach culture by a view of intercultural approach.
Secondly, a questionnaire survey on the recognition of Korean cultures and the learning requirements of Chinese Korean learners was conducted in order to illustrate the necessity of this approach. Lastly, this paper presented the instructional objectives of culture teaching integrated in low-grade language course from the cognitive (acknowledge), functional (performance) and affective (attitude) aspects, and the specific directions of them as well. Furthermore, examples of instruction procedure for beginners and intermediate learners were presented based on this kind of research.

언어와 문화는 불가분의 관계이다. 언어와 문화의 통합 교육 양상은 언어 중심의 문화 교육과 문화 중심의 언어 교육으로 나누어질 수 있다. 본고는 중국 정규 4년째 대학교에서 한국어를 전공하는 저학년 학습자에게 실시하는 언어 중심의 문화 통합 교육 방안을 모색하는 데에 목적을 두었다.
본고는 먼저 중국의 한국어 교육 현장에서 다루어지는 문화교육을 파악하기 위해 중국 S대학교 한국어과 저학년 한국어강독(講讀)수업을 중심으로 교재에서의 문화 내용을 점검하고 문화교육에 대한 학습자의 요구조사를 실시함으로써 문화교육에 존재하는 문제점 및 개선요망 사항을 살펴보았다.
중국에서 한국어를 교육하는 데에 상호문화적 접근이 중요하다고 느껴진다. 이를 밝히기 위해 학습자의 한국 문화 수용 및 인식 양상을 설문과 심층 인터뷰를 통해 살펴보았다. 교재분석과 함께 학습자 요구조사 및 한국문화 인식 양상 조사를 바탕으로, 중국인학습자들의 교육 환경의 특수성을 고려하여 이에 적용할 수 있는 교수 방안을 학습자 숙련도별로 예시를 통해 제시하였다.
