In addition, it is necessary for the military itself to prepare for special policies such as naturing children support to improve naturing conditions of the geographically and socio-culturally isolated small unit.
Furthermore, usability, efficiency, effectiveness of the current transferring-admission system, special case admission system, dormitory support, scholarship support, tuition loan should be reviewed and improved for the better realistic support.

군 직업은 사회문화적, 지리적으로 격리된 지역에 대부분의 부대가 위치하고 있어 근무여건, 주거여건, 생활여건, 자녀교육여건 등이 매우 열악하고 기반시설이 취약하여 개인 및 가정생활에 많은 어려움이 수반되는 특성이 있다. 군인자녀들에 대해서는 국가차원에서 보다 각별한 관심과 정책적 지원이 이루어질 필요가 있다고 하겠다. 그러나 현재 군의 자녀지원정책은 법, 제도, 운영적인 측면에서 보완해야 할 부분이 많다. 무엇보다도 관련 법, 조직, 기능, 인력, 예산을 시급히 갖출 필요가 있다. 또한 지리적 사회문화적으로 격리된 소규모부대의 보육여건 개선을 위해 보육료 지원 등 군 자체의 별도 정책이 마련될 필요가 있다. 그리고 현재 시행되고 있는 전입학제도, 특례입학제도, 기숙사 지원, 장학금 지원, 학자금 대부 등의 제도에 대해서도 실효성과 효율성, 효과성 측면에서 재검토하여 보다 실질적인 지원이 될 수 있도록 해야 한다.
