Green insurance has been paid much attention in the view point of green economy and circulation economy. Green insurance is regarded as environmental liability insurance, however there are obvious differences from various perspectives. Green insurance is a new type of insurance in China and in Korea, but each country in the world, with keen interest, is trying to enforce the green insurance system. China is going to refer to advanced countries' successful experiences to establish the green insurance system. Through the benchmarking of green insurance systems of US, Germany, France, the European Union and other countries, China is establishing an insurance system that regards compulsory green insurance as principal, random green insurance as supplementary, and eventually expand the liability coverage of the insurance. This paper will give the Chinese government, insurance companies, and pollution-producing companies the development know-how and success strategies for green insurance system, also it will provide Korean companies guidelines for green insurance.

녹색보험은 녹색경제 및 순환경제의 관점에서 커다란 관심대상이 되고 있다. 녹색보험은 환경 책임보험의 별칭이라고 간주될 수 있지만, 다양한 관점에서 분명한 차이점이 내재한다고 볼 수 있다. 중국에서나 한국에서 세계 각국에서도 녹색보험은 하나의 새로운 형태의 보험이며, 세계 각국이 지대한 관심을 가지면서 녹색보험을 적극적으로 시행하고 있다. 중국은 국제적으로 녹색 보험 제도를 실시한 미국, 독일, 프랑스, 유럽연맹 등의 선진국의 성공 노하우를 참조하여 녹색보 험 제도를 완성하려 하며, 또한 각국의 경험을 종합하여 강제성 녹색보험을 주체로 하고, 임의성 책임보험을 보조로 하는 보험 제도를 제정하고, 녹색보험책임범위 등의 방면 등을 확대하려고 한다. 이 논문에서는 중국정부, 보험기업, 오염배출 기업에게 녹색 보험제도의 발전과정 및 성공전 략을 제시하고자 하며, 이를 통해 한국의 관련기업에게 녹색보험에 대한 인식을 확대하고 이를 위한 성공 가이드라인을 제공하고자 한다.
