The purpose of this survey was to investigate how taekwondo coaches servant leadership on empowerment and organizational effectiveness. The subjects of this survey were position athletes of korea taekwondo association, and 250 participants were sampled by using convenience sampling. 196 participants completed the survey and their responses were actually used in the analysis. Questionnaires returned from 54 respondents had to be dropped from the analysis, because their responses were judged insincere or were not filled in the questionnaires completely. Analytical techniques used in this research work were frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. Results from the above survey and analysis of data and information revealed the following: First, servant leadership had significant influences on empowerment. Servant leadership had 43.3%(R²=.433) of influence about impact, servant leadership had 49.7%(R²=.497) of influence about self-determinant, servant leadership had 52.2%(R²=.522) of influence about meaningfulness and servant leadership had 34.6%(R²=.346) of influence about competence. Second, servant leadership style had significant influences on organizational effectiveness. Servant leadership had 31.5%(R²=.315) of influence about organizational commitment, and servant leadership had 40.4%(R²=.404) of influence about job satisfaction. Third, empowerment had significant influences on organizational effectiveness. Empowerment had 49.6%(R²=.496) of influence about organizational commitment, and empowerment had 58.6%(R²=.586) of influence about job satisfaction.
