This study was performed targeting 8 players, who were selected in the final round (3rd game) of balance beam for the gymnastics, by participating in the 25th Universiade(Belgrade, 2009). The researcher closely analyzed and confirmed the performance contents of paper(symbol note), which were recorded, by participating as a Korean referee in the final round of balance beam, did shoot the process of final-round competition by using KODAK camera(KCSJA 82700606), and recorded and analyzed the difficulty degree and performance contents based on the Code of Point 2009 regulated by FIG, through this data. 1. Difficulty degree D, which can earn difficulty value in 0.40, was performed totally 29 times with 7 elements. 2. Difficulty degree E, which can earn difficulty value in 0.50, was performed totally 13 times with four elements, and was mainly utilized (2.508) element and dismount element(6.505). 3. The connection value was used 14 essential skills with applying 6 kinds of links. It is considered to be necessarily concentrated on skills like D+B+C (5.410), (5.205), (5.313), which can obtain the connection value in 0.20. Also, the start value can be increased depending on which player performs composition requirement by utilizing the higher difficulty level. Thus, there is a need of devoting to composition of skills in order to be suitable for player’s individuality.
