Effect of the Regular Physical Activity Program on Psychological Well-Being and Resilience among the Decreased Bone Density Women

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the regular physical activity program on psychological well-being and resilience among the decreased bone density women. For attaining the purpose, 38 decreased bone density women who attending physical fitness program in E community health center, got 5 month experimental research program. The survey questionnaires were the psychological well-being developed by Yang(2004) and the questionnaire for resilience developed by Reivich & Shatté(2003). For the data treatment, the statistical methods used for analyzing the data were the descriptive statistics analysis The results of this study were as follows. 1. The regular physical activity program with decreased bone density women affects psychological well-being. 2. The regular physical activity program with decreased bone density women affects resilience. In conclusion, the following points were drawn. Regular physical activity may be effective on improvement of functional fitness(aerobics, flexibility, Balance, strength) and Quality of life(QOL) in decreased bone density women.
