About the public security, the police division center and the police box as the forefront police agency for the citizens are essential for the maintenance of social order and police service of the citizens in terms of their function and role. However, recently most of the police division centers have been changed to the police boxes, so that it is also true that the question is raised in the working capacity Therefore, I would like to offer the effective high-quality police services to the citizens for the safety of the citizens, through analyzing and researching of way to supplement the personnel to meet the needs in the various angles. This study has been analyzed by using ANOVA and t-test to test the hypothesis that there will be differences in the satisfaction of support system and the perception of effectiveness of support system and the improvement of police security service and the understanding of support system, according to demographic characteristics such as rank, age, department, Moreover, in this paper, I have analyzed using the multiple regression analysis how the understanding and the expendibility of support system have an effect on the effectiveness of any support system. First of all, in the case of the difference analysis of the rank, age, department, the result of the analysis has shown that the policeman who has the lowest rank feels the highest satisfaction and improvement of police service, The higher the rank from the policeman to Inspector, the higher the understanding and the expendibility of support system. In the case of age, the police officers in their twenties showed the highest satisfaction and improvement of police security services like the result of the difference analysis for the rank. In the expendibility of support system, the police officers in their fifties showed the highest average. On the other hand, in the case of the police department, the police officers at the police box rather than the police officers working in the police station showed the highest average in every case such as the satisfaction of support system, the perception of effectiveness of support system, the improvement of police security service, the expendibility of support system. when I look at the results of the multiple regression analysis about the effects on the support system, the understanding and the expendibility of support system have a positive (+) effect on the satisfaction of support system and the perception of effectiveness of support system and the improvement of police security service at the same time. In conclusion, according to the result of the analysis like this, the support system for the police box by the desk police officers working in the police station proposes the analytic basis of the valuable police activities for the effective security service beyond the means of supplement of the police force.

민생치안에 있어서 시민의 최일선 대민기관인 지구대와 파출소는 사회질서유지는 물론이고 시민친화적 대시민 서비스를 위해 그 기능과 역할 면에서 반드시 필요한 일선기관이다. 그러나 최근 대부분의 지구대가 파출소로 전환되면서 근무역량에 의문이 제기된 것도 사실이다. 그래서 이러한 지역경찰관서의 제도적 변화로 파생된 부족한 일시점 근무인원문제를 다각도로 연구 분석하여, 적합한 근무지원방안을 제시함으로써 시민에게 보다 안전하고 효과적인 양질의 치안서비스를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구는 계급, 부서, 연령 등의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 지원제도의 만족도, 지원제도의 효과성 인식, 치안서비스 향상도, 지원제도의 이해도, 지원제도 확대성 등과의 인식차이를 t 테스트와 ANOVA분석을 통해 분석하였고, 다중회귀분석을 통해 지원제도의 이해도와 확대성이 지원제도의 효과성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 분석하였다. 우선 계급별, 연령별, 부서별 차이분석의 경우, 계급이 가장 낮은 순경이 가장 높은 만족도와 치안서비스 향상도를 보였고, 지원제도의 이해도는 순경에서부터 경위까지 계급이 올라갈수록 높은 이해도를 나타냈다. 연령의 경우 계급에 따른 차이분석 결과와 같이 젊은 20대가 만족도와 치안서비스 향상도에서 가장 높게 나타났으며, 확대성은 50대가 가장 높은 평균치를 보였다. 부서의 경우는 경찰서보다는 파출소에서 근무하는 경찰관이 지원제도의 만족도, 효과성 인식도, 치안서비스 향상도, 지원제도의 확대성 등에서 모두 높은 평균치를 보였다. 그리고 지원근무제도의 영향관계에 관한 다중회귀분석결과를 보면, 파출소 근무지원제도에 대한 이해도가 높을수록 근무지원제도의 만족도와 효과성 인식도 그리고 치안서비스 향상도가 정(+)의 방향으로 높아지며, 지원제도의 확대성(순찰 등에 국한 하지 않는 지원 범위, 초과근무의 적절성, 지원제도의 지속성)이 커질수록 역시 근무지원제도의 만족도, 효과성 인식도, 치안서비스 향상도에 정(+)의 방향으로 영향을 미친다는 결론을 얻을 수 있다. 따라서 경찰서 내근경찰관의 파출소 근무지원제도는 경찰인력 보충의 의미를 초월해서 효과적인 치안서비스 제공이라는 고품격 경찰활동의 분석적 근거를 제시한다고 볼 수 있다.
