This Paper shows which determinants can explain the business performances through internationalization activities by Korean venture firms in Daedeok Innopolis. We classified the determinant factors into three groups which are charateristics of CEOs(risk taking, overseas experience, internationalization preparation), organizational characteristics(preceding, absorptional capability, learning involvement), and constrains of overseas market(dynamics, transaction costs). Among them, these three variables such as international preparation activities, preceding and dynamics can expain the business performances through internationalisation of Korean venture firms statistically significant.

본 연구는 우리 나라의 대표적인 첨단기술집약형 벤처기업 집적지인 대덕밸리 벤처기업을 대상으로 기업의 국제화를 통해 획득한 성과를 잘 설명할 수 있는 결정요인이 무엇인지 규명하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 벤처기업의 국제화 성과에 영향을 미치는 변수군을 경영층의 특성요인군(위험추구성, 해외경험, 국제화준비), 조직특성요인군(선행성, 흡수능력, 학습몰입도), 해외시장제약요인군(동태성, 거래비용) 세 가지로 대별하고, 요인별로 경영성과와 영향관계를 검증하였다. 검증 결과, 각 요인군별로 하나의 변수만이 국제화성과를 유의적으로 설명하였다. 즉 경영층 특성요인군 중에는 국제화준비변수가, 벤처조직특성요인군 중에는 선행성변수, 그리고 해외시장제약요인군 중에는 동태성변수가 각기 국제화성과를 유의적으로 설명하는 것으로 나타났다.
