본 연구는 자원기반관점을 이론적 배경으로 하여 한국기업의 수출성과에 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 했다. 회귀분석 결과는 기업의 혁신역량과 기술역량은 부분적으로 지지되며, 기업의 수출마케팅역량은 수출성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 가설이 지지되고 있음을 보여준다. 즉, 수출만족도를 수출성과로 측정한 경우에는 혁신역량이 매우 중요한 요인이지만, 수출비중으로 수출성과를 측정한 경우, 혁신역량이 유의하지 않은 결과를 보여주고 있다. 한편, 기업이 보유한 제휴선의 역량과 경험이 수출성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 가설은 모두 기각된다. 본 연구의 결과는 우리나라 기업들의 경우 기술역량과 혁신역량, 그리고 수출마케팅역량이 기업의 수출성과에 유의한 영향을 끼치고 있음을 잘 보여주고 있다. 따라서 수출성과를 향상시키기 위해서 기업은 기술투자에 대한 노력은 물론 제품 및 기술 그리고 프로세스관련 특허의 확보로 혁신역량을 확보하여야 하며, 수출마케팅역량의 증진을 위한 지속적인 투자가 필요함을 시사해주고 있다. 본 연구는 수출성과에 대한 결정요인으로 기업의 혁신역량이 중요하다는 것을 시사해주는 몇 되지 않는 연구 중 하나이며, 수출성과를 주관적인 측정치와 객관적인 측정치로 동시에 분석한 몇 되지 않는 연구 중 하나이다.

In this study, I have analyzed the determinants of firm's export performance with resource-based-view. The sample companies that I used in the study are Korean firms in electronic industry. The regression results show that firm's R&D capability and innovation capability are partially affecting its export performance when the export performance is measured by a subjective method, and export marketing capability is positively and significantly affecting its export performance including a subjective as well as objective methods. However, the firm's network capability as well as the export related experience do not affect its export performance, significantly. The main contributions of this study are that I have analyzed the relationship between export performance and firm's innovation capability which has rarely studied before. Also, this study is analyzed with subjective and objective measures regarding export performance at the same time.
