The purpose of this study is to examine the causal relationships among the perception of physical decline, satisfaction of neighborhood, place attachment, profit of redevelopment's expectation, and the resident's attitude of redevelopment and to find policy implications on successful Newtown development's strategies. To achieve this purpose, this study reviews the existing literatures about redevelopment, neighborhood disorder, place attachment, neighborhood satisfaction theories, and then formulates some study hypotheses, and finally verifies them using a structural equation model. Here is the result. As evaluation of the path structure analysis among the expectation of redevelopment's profit, the resident's place attachment, and the resident's redevelopment attitude. The Resident's expectation of redevelopment is one of a strong affecting factor. However, it is also very important factor to affect the resident redevelopment's attitude which the resident's neighborhood satisfaction and place attachment.
