The main stated preference method used for estimating of economical values of cultural heritages is the contingent valuation method. The study is to apply the double-bound dichotomous choice method as the contingent valuation method to estimate non-market value of JIKJI in Cheongju and its policy implication. JIKJI is the first publication in the whole world which is printed using metal printing method and JIKJI is listed on Memory of the World program in 2001. This study is expected to contribute to the decision-making process for policy-makers by providing useful methodological framework and quantitative information related to JIKJI Globalization in Cheongju.
