The Analysis on the Current Network and its Promotion Policy of Regional Innovation Players of the Dongnam Region in Korea: with Focus on the Cooperation among Industry,UniversityandResearchInstitutes

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the network structure of Regional Innovators in Dongnam district of Korea, and to evaluate its effectiveness from the perspective of 'the cooperation among industry, university and research institution.' This analysis is focused, particularly, on the research ability or capability of these three innovators. And, this paper shows that the network of Regional Innovators in Dongnam district had not worked well. As a result, the following policy directions are suggested. First, incentive system for the cooperation for three innovators are strengthened. Second, Regional Innovation System should be linked with the network structure. Third, the system to enhance information sharing should be set up, etc.
