This study was set to find out overall research trend on transition of children with developmental delays by general analysis on domestic thesis related to education on transition of domestic children with developmental delays and study preview on research direction for education on transition of children with developmental delays in the future. 25 theses of research on education on transition of children with developmental delays in the field of a special education last 13 years from 1990 to 2001 were put into analysis and summarized with criteria of year, research object, research method and research contents through a scientific journal DB. The result reveals that education on transition of domestic children with developmental delays was carried out in diverse special education fields with many researches in 2002, 2003, 2009 and 2010. Teachers and parents ranked in sequence for research object classification. But research of development retardation children as object took less than study to teachers and parents. In the analysis of research method, investigation research showed outstanding high ratio and literature research and qualitative research followed. But experimental research which can be applied in education field was very rare as 2 theses. In the analysis of research contents, studies of the education on transition were accomplished in the steps of before transition, on transition and after transition and the most frequent researches were done on transition adaption skills on children with developmental delays. Programs for children and mothers as major rearers of children with developmental delays were applied to studies and carried out in the experimental research. In a result, continuous researches are required in the point of view of ecology. In the mean time, various research methods and contents are asked for application into diversified objects.

본 연구는 국내 발달지체 유아의 전이 및 전환 교육에 관련된 국내 논문들 을 종합 분석하여 발달지체 유아의 전이 및 전환 교육에 관한 전반적인 연구 동향을 파악하 고, 향후 발달지체 유아 의 전이 및 전환 교육에 관한 연구방향에 대한 시사점을 고찰하고자 하였 다. 대상논문은 1998년 부터 2011년 현재까지 13년 동안 특수교육 관련분야의 발달지체 유아의 전 이 및 전환 교육에 관 한 연구논문 총 26편을 전문학술 DB를 통하여 학회지 및 학술 논문을 연도, 연구 대상자별, 연구 방법, 연구 내용별로 분석 요약하였다. 연구 결과, 국내 발달지체 유아의 전이 및 전환 교육의 연구는 특수교육 분 야에서 연구 분야에 서 연구가 이루어졌으며, 특히 2002년, 2003년, 2009년, 2010년도에는 연구 가 활발하게 이루어지고 있었다. 대상자별 분석에서는 교사, 부모 순으로 나타났다. 그러나 발달지 체 유아를 대상으로 한 연구는 교사와 부모를 대상으로 한 연구에 비해 낮게 나타났다. 연구 방법 별 분석에서는 조사연 구가 월등하게 높게 나타났으며, 문헌연구와 질적연구도 나타났다. 그러나 현장에서 적용할 수 있 는 실험연구는 2편으로 극히 적게 나타났다. 연구 내용별 분석에서는 전이 전과 전이 시 그리고 전이 후에 따라 전이 및 전환교육에 관한 연구가 이루어지고 있었으며 발 달지체 유아의 전이 적 응 기술에 관련된 연구가 가장 많이 나타나고 있었다. 실험연구에서는 발 달지체 유아의 주 양육 자인 어머니와 유아를 대상으로 프로그램을 적용한 연구가 이루어지고 있 었다. 결론적으로 발달 지체 유아의 전이 및 전환교육에 관한 연구는 이벤트 성 연구가 아닌 지속 적으로 꾸준하게 연구 가 이루어져야 할 것이며, 생태학적 관점을 중심으로 연구되어질 필요성이 있다. 또한 다양한 연 구 방법과 함께 연구내용을 중심으로 다양한 대상에게 적용되어질 수 있는 현장 연구가 이루어져 야 할 것이다.
